Travel: the questions to answer before you film

Postbarrel interviews you, then turns your answers into a script you read on camera. It never writes for you.

What a good one needs

a real trip or visit they took, a take (the one thing they'd tell someone about the place — go, skip, do it differently), and at least one named place with a specific moment or sensory detail that proves they were there. Named places are the backbone — the script can only reference places the person actually named.

The interview

  1. 01

    Where did you go?

The place, city, region, or spot. Name the specific places you visited if you can.

  2. 02

What's your take, the one thing you'd tell someone about it?

Overrated, life-changing, do it in two days not five, skip the famous thing, the claim you'd defend.

  3. 03

One moment or place that stuck with you?

A view, a street, a meal, a wrong turn, an exact moment, the thing you still think about.

  4. 04 · optional

Anything else you want to add? More detail, another angle, anything you didn't get to?

Optional: Fill, if you've got more to say. Skip, if you don't.

How it works

  1. 01Answer the questions above, in the app, about the real thing.
  2. 02Postbarrel asks the follow-ups a sharp interviewer would, if an answer is thin.
  3. 03Read back a script built only from what you said, with delivery notes — then film it from the built-in teleprompter, or record right there.

Every line traces back to your answers. Postbarrel never invents an opinion, a claim or a story on your behalf, and it never makes the video — you show up and say it.
